Greeters
We are looking for persons or couples who would be willing to greet one Sunday before the 10:30AM service. Serving time would begin at 10AM at the front of the church. Contact Palmer Poff at 717-244-4240 if you would be willing to serve in this meaningful ministry of welcoming members and visitors to our wonderful church.
Missions Central
Mission Central connects God's resources with human need.
Whether it is local need, such as school supplies or worldly disaster relief, Mission Central is there to lend a hand. Every other month throughout the year, a team of faithful volunteers delivers all the items that have been donated to missions central in York. If you would like to be a part of this team, please contact Terry Tyson
Prayer Shawl Ministry
The prayer shawl ministry had their first gathering on June 20, 2011, and on July 24, 2011, their first thirteen shawls and blankets were blessed for distribution. Since that time, we have blessed and distributed almost 2,000 items. Our blankets and shawls have gone far and wide. This group of approximately eight ladies work diligently to make blankets and shawls. They are knitted, crocheted, fleece and some are quilted with love in each garment.
Men's Group
Our men's group meets every Saturday morning at 8AM for fellowship and discussion in the café.
All are welcome.
Flower & Altar Guild

The altar guild is a lay ministry that takes care of the altar, vestments, vessels, altar linens, communion, and preparing Holy water for the Baptismal font of the church and for special highlights in the Christian church and its calendar. Altar Guild members prepare the sanctuary for services and clean up afterward. At Bethlehem, this ministry is broken down into specific responsibilities and sharing as listed.
The Altar and Flower Guild prepares candles and wicks for all services and special religious calendar events, creates large floral arrangements and decorates the Sanctuary for special holidays and religious events. They also plant flowers and water the plants and decorate the front or façade of the church for special calendar holidays, and special events. Special arrangements are created and snacks are prepared during the holiday season and delivered to the home-bound members of Bethlehem.. If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact Terry Knisely.
Funeral Luncheon Committee
The Bethlehem Funeral Luncheon Committee is a meaningful way to serve others. Organizers are Nancy Knisely, Lila Metzel, and Debra Raver along with a list of friendly helpers called upon from time to time. We can always use additional volunteers, women or men, for tasks such as table setting and decorating, food and drink preparation of delivered items (not cooking), simple serving, and clean up. Volunteers choose what they prefer to do and times they are available. We consider this a labor of love for others at an emotional time and a special way to make new friends. Please see any organizer for further information.
Women's Bible Study
Women's bible study meets every Wednesday at 10AM in the conference room. Study topics vary every season.
Missions Team
Our missions team seeks
to spread the message and image of Jesus Christ to our community.
Every year, the team sponsors the Bowersox golf tournament, the make-a-wish holiday party, & serves free meals at the Dallastown Halloween Parade and our weekly Meals and More bible study. The team also hosts the free community Christmas dinner.
Join us in making a difference!
Hospitality for
Special Events
The team was initially formed in January 2009 beginning with the service of Rev. Lewis Crouse. Our main purpose is to provide assistance and guidance for family and friends during this time of grief and loss. The only requirements to serve are a smile and a willing spirit to help those in attendance. In addition, we serve light refreshments. Should you feel this is a place for you to serve God, please contact Gerry or Terry Tyson
Youth Group
Youth group meets every Sunday from 5:30PM-7Pm

We have lunch together and also have events throughout
